SUPERhip Procedure

This is the cost of the SUPERhip procedure, performed at the Paley Middle East Clinic in Abu Dhabi UAE.
AchievedBMP Injection
$60,000 AUDThis will cover the cost of Henry's follow-up procedure where Bone Morphogenetic Protein (BMP) is injected into the femoral neck to convert cartilage into bone and assist in forming a bony union. Henry required a hardware replacement during this procedure.
AchievedLengthening Procedure and Rehabilitation Program
$230,000 AUDPaley Orthopedic & Spine Institute, West Palm Beach, Florida USA
This will cover the cost of Henry's first leg lengthening procedure at the Paley Orthopedic & Spine Institute in West Palm Beach, Florida USA. This will also allow Henry to participate in a 17-week, 5 days/week rehabilitation program whilst he undergoes lengthening.
Removal of Fixator
$65,000 AUDFollowing rehab, Henry will require removal of the fixator and insertion of a prophylactic rod to prevent fracturing his femur. This can be removed in Australia once the bone has healed. It will also cover the cost of his new prosthetic.
Flights, Accommodation, Travel & Hire Car
$30,000 AUDThis will cover the cost of flights, accommodation, travel and hire car for Henry and his family during the lengthening procedure and rehabilitation program in the United States.
